3230-QT – Drive Pinion Shaft (2 1/4″)

This particular part is the same functionality as the origininal 3230 part from your parts manual, but made with a new material AND a different gear pattern which should be easier on the rack and wear less.
It is made from a material that has already been heat treated. So while it is a little bit less hard than the old way of manufacturing, it is still very much harder than the gear rack that it rides on.
The new part number is so we can track longer term durability.
