Description

2177 for square edger shaft

2180 for hex edger shaft

This part is what holds the edger shaft from falling. It locks into the bearing above the carriage to hold the location. If your edger shaft seems to be dropping or has too much vertical movement you need to make an adjustment on this part. If your main blade is leaving cuts in the log, it’s because the edger shaft is set too high. If the lumber is not releasing from the log, it might be too high. There should be a 1/8″ x 1/8″ ‘diagnostic step’ left in the log.
