Description
If you get a long block from a swap meet or some other supplier, it will likely have a 69mm crankshaft. Our SS No-Weld Crank Extension Kit does not require splitting the case and easily screws on to any standard VW crankshaft.
Our long blocks (the “redubbed” VW 1759cc long blocks and engines) come with 74 mm long stroke crankshafts (better low end torque), 1.25 ratio rockers, and 87mm pistons and cylinders (more material, better cooling).
You are welcome to find whatever long block from wherever. This kit will finish it to be a complete, electric start, sawmill engine.
NOTE: this kit includes a gas can complete, but that is *technically* a carriage part as it doesn’t fit on the engine.
