Originally developed in the 60s based on a military design, the inventory, Jim May, perfected the 3 blade cutting design. With 4,500+ of these mills are still in use throughout the world as proof of these sawmills' utility. Many are passed down through generations and have cut millions of board feet! Production stopped in 2017 due to lack of succession plan at the time. New owners, Keith and Joanna, took over summer of 2022. Immediate efforts went into stabilizing parts support for existing customers and building inventory supply. The last 2.5 years have been spent reverse engineering every undocumented part and learning the finer intricaces of these mills and their operation. New, improved parts and retrofit kits bring these mills into the 21st century while still honoring the timeless funcitonality and "bomb-proof" durability of the original design.
